The ZGS aggregates substation, widely referred to as American type box transformer, is fitted with the transformer and high/low voltage apparatus into one single device that resembles a 品 type building. With three sides of the device exposed to the environment, the ZGS allows for efficient and space-saving distribution of electricity amongst city grids, outside installations, and green energy developments.

Substation Dimensions, Weight & Delivery

The overall size and weight of a substation will depend upon its configuration and capacity. A typical 250-630 kVA unit will be around 3000-5000 mm in length, 1500-2500 mm in width, and 1800-2600 mm in height, sent either as one or a few assembled packages. Overall size, weight, and lifting points are confirmed by project drawings.

Subian's Xuzhou factory produces American-style pad-mounted and box-type substations with tank fabrication, bushings, and integration with fused switchgear. Units are assembled and tested at this facility before export. In-house production and testing of the Combined Substation follow the same controlled process at this facility.
